Ten members of the Get-Together club studied a Home Management lesson Friday, June 27, at the O. M. Hardtarfer home.
Mrs. L. S. Congdon and Mrs. Glenn Fundenberger presented the lesson, "So You're Going to Have A Bathroom" illustrating their suggestions with miniature bathroom pictures and drawings. Location of the room, types of fixtures, and special family needs were discussed. The lesson will be concluded at the September meeting.

It being the seventy-fifth anniversary of Harvey county, it is not surprising that the entry in the Labor Day parade which was a yoke of oxen pulling a covered wagon won about the best round of applause from the crowds that lined the streets. "Huh," grunted one old-timer, "you can go out on the highway or past a farm and see one of these modern tractor outfits any day." He wanted to see more of the old memory-jogging features. Yeah, somebody might have build a sod house and put it on one of these modern trucks in the parade.
